Yet, with mobile phones being omnipresent, even more so than computers in developing countries, they're the perfect medium for providing life-changing tools to NGOs, Ministries of Health, etc. This talk will discuss the challenges of having a decentralized data-collecting application in areas with little or no internet connection. We will look at this through IASO, a mobile app used in many developing countries to follow up on beneficiaries, help eliminate diseases, or improve infrastructure.
