But we as developers are not powerless! Let's inspect the current situation, see what already happened, and do a risk assessment of what could happen. Then we will shift gears and see what concrete actions we can take: growing our digital independence, how to adapt app publishing and Android development, where to communicate, adapting AI usage, building a trusted network of like-minded people, how to use cross-platform as leverage, using the growing demand for ethical products to start businesses and projects, improving open source, investing, teaching, making more privacy-focused software, and many more. Because we as developers have power, and we are stronger together. Let's use it for good!
